Susan received her MFA and learned that she had to create her own opportunities - the piece of paper did not automatically open doors. It was not an easy journey.

Alice has been a full time artist part time while raising a family and working and now is working full time as an artist. Her road was equally challenging.

They met at an artists' gathering at Alice's studio and decided they wanted to share  the information they have gathered through personal experiences and research.  They realized the great need for a concise yet informative book to be available for all artists.
